Welcome to my Online Gallery!
Thank you for visiting my online gallery. I hope you enjoy browsing through my artwork. I have originals, matted prints, and notecards available for sale.
I have loved art since I was a little girl, and as a child dreamed of becoming an artist some day. Predominantly self taught, I have always enjoyed art as a hobby, but raising a family, and a home based career as a clothing and quilt pattern designer took up most of my time.
In 2009, my husband and I retired to Black Mountain, North Carolina, where I have been able to pursue my art full-time. Thanks to two excellent teachers, Lorelle Bacon and Bob Travers, I have seen an amazing amount of growth in a very short period of time.
I enjoy working in oils, watercolor, pastels, pen & ink, and scratchboard. I am a juried member of the North Carolina Wildlife Artist Society and the International Society of Scratchboard Artists. I am also a member of the Swannanoa Valley Fine Arts League, and the Art League of Henderson County
In addition, my home studio is part of the E.A.S.T. studio tour, and is open to the public during this event in May and October.
